With these warriors Sparta carved out an Empire for itself -‘Lakedaimon’. However, it was soon to find that its reign was not to be unopposed and other great cities were rising to the fore; Athens, Thebes, Corinth, Macedonia and not to forget the threat from the east - the massive Persian Empire. You can use ships to travel from island to island, fight naval battles & perform naval invasions; siege castles and assault them when they are weakened. You can build city walls armed with catapults and hurl Greek fire onto your enemies, scorching the earth and killing anyone in their path.
